Willie Darling is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose musical journey has taken him all over the map. From holding down the upright bass in jazz groups to fronting his own gritty alt-country band with guitar in hand today, Willie has been consistently paying his dues for over a decade of performing. 

As a songwriter his keen ear for authenticity and soul is readily apparent. By blending the story-telling elements of roots country music, the ephemeral poetry of sixties folk and psychedelia, and the improvisational attitude gleaned from his years as a jazz bassist, Willie has found a unique niche in today's musical landscape. As a performer he is simultaneously raucous and introspective, equally confident in holding the crowd in the palm of his hand during a slow song as he is bringing them to a fever pitch on uptempo jams.
